Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura
Water & Energy Savings Corporation partnered with the Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura on an energy performance contract to install water and energy system improvements to all of the Authority's public housing developments. The Authority provides management and maintenance for all of these sites, which are well maintained and have a long resident waiting list. The irrigation system was updated with new sprinkler heads and control dial settings were improved. Through conservation measures and individual metering, the project realized significant savings in water nearly doubling the estimated annual savings.
